Romance on the Set: Between Reggie Rolle (Damon) and Amy Miller (Trakeena). In the Latin American Spanish dub, Carlos del Campo (Bulk), Gabriel Chávez (Professor Phenomenus) and Carola Vázquez (Karone) reprise their roles once again. In the Japanese dub, Mari Maruta (Alpha 6), Katsuhiro Kitagawa (Professor Phenomenus), Noboru Oyama (Bulk) and Ai Orikasa (Karone) reprise their roles again from Power Rangers in Space. For Banning, it would be the final time that he portrayed Phenomenus before his death in 2005. From Power Rangers in Space: Melody Perkins returned to play Karone, Wendee Lee returned to voice Alpha 6 and Jack Banning returned to play Professor Phenomenus.

It's also worth noting that this series also recycles several monster costumes from previous Power Rangers series (some unused) as well as some from its sister series, Big Bad Beetleborgs. Also, the Magna Morpher was from Dairanger, unused in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers since they were still sticking with a lot of Zyuranger stuff. 
Prop Recycling: The military armor was courtesy of Starship Troopers. However, as of 2014, he's begun to soften up, as he's made appearances at conventions and also accepted a cameo invitation for Megaforce. It practically took a miracle (and the producers calling in personal favors) to get him to appear in "Forever Red", and he repeatedly turned down numerous invitations to appear at Power Morphicon. 
The behind-the-scenes troubles that went on while filming the Lost Galaxy/ Lightspeed Rescue team-up the following season only further soured his feelings towards his experiences (basically, the producers tried to screw over Trakeena's actress Amy Miller out of her paycheck and Slavin literally walked off the set alongside Miller in protest of this, forcing the producers to have to hire a body double for the remainder of his scenes and do their best to avoid showing his face during the episode).
It's believed he only took the role of Leo to pay for law school and has retired from acting since.
Old Shame: Danny Slavin is probably the greatest example of Creator Backlash in the Power Rangers franchise. A transcription of its script was eventually leaked to the fandom and confirmed authentic by the writers. Missing Episode: "Forging a Friendship", the "Air Force One on the Megaship" episode with Cassie and Maya, was discarded after Patricia Ja Lee's contract dispute with Saban Entertainment forced her off the show. Thankfully, her leukemia was cured in time for her revival in the final episode. McLeaned: Valerie Vernon was diagnosed with leukemia during filming, Kendrix was killed off by sacrificing herself to save Cassie. Fan Nickname: The Ranger suits for this season (and thus, extended to Gingaman as well) has been nicknamed "The Charlie Brown Costumes" because of the signature squiggly, pointed black line across the torso and around the cuffs of the boots and gloves. Development Gag: Thanks to the previous season using the name "Galaxy Gliders" for vehicles that turned into cycles (thanks to Added Alliterative Appeal), the bikes of this season got named Astro Cycles instead (PRiS bandied the word "Astro" a few times, including the name of the Megazord).
